Responsibilities:
As a Software Developer, you will be a highly influential problem solver and project team leader. As project team lead you will be directing junior team members to complete tasks. As lead, you will be responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and preventing / resolving blockages that impact the overall success of the team. You will also be responsible for reporting team members successes or deficiencies to management. In this role you will be responsible for technical guidance, planning, directing, solutioning, and interacting with the client. Development teams are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing original software solutions for business applications.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Provide technical leadership while responsible for development and implementation of standards to deliver high quality software.
Collaborate with a team comprised of both technical and non-technical members to support projects.
Experience with / ability to work with clients to define requirements (including UI mockups and functionality requirements), work through User-Acceptance testing scenarios (including problem resolution, design and scope changes), and achieving final application sign-off.
Drive and instill a culture of innovation that drives us to deliver the best user experience for our products by empowering your team to own the experience.
Participate in Agile sprint planning and code reviews.
Innovate software development processes and end-user products with a focus on enhancing the customer experience and/or business growth opportunities
Actively working with the Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 (or newer) environment.
Work with a team to develop and implement various web-based software applications using the [website] framework.
Gather and refine requirements; develop designs; implement, test and document solutions.
Work in a highly motivated and customer facing setting to implement new online solutions
Learn new technologies and utilize software best practices to design data structures, build and customize online applications, and develop and maintain reports.
Develop applications in conjunction with a project manager.
Qualifications:
BS degree (Required) in Computer Science, Information Systems, OR equivalent degree
3+ years' experience in the Software development space using Microsoft's platform, ideally with API development.
3+ years in a software development project leader role experience.
Proven ability to lead a software development team
Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with extended team members
Documented course work or previous job experience with .NET, HTML and SQL required, JavaScript Frameworks a strong plus.
Familiarity with the software development life cycle
Ability to multitask and be involved in several different concurrent projects.
Experience with back-end and front-end development with Microsoft .NET Framework
Extensive experience coding in C#, [website], HTML, CSS, SQL
Some experience with SQL Server Development Creating and modifying stored procedures and data conversion
Familiarity with Azure or AWS Cloud environments
Proficient at debugging code and testing
Experience working in government contracting environments is a plus.
Ability to be a self-starter and work on projects with minimal management oversight.
