We are currently seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join our IT team and help us build and maintain robust, secure, and scalable applications to support our district's educational initiatives.

Position Overview:

As a .NET Developer at CVUSD, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services that are essential to our district's operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our students, staff, and administrators. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a strong technical background and a passion for developing innovative solutions in the educational sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications, services, and APIs using the .NET framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.
• Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, cloud storage, and other back-end services.
• Maintain and update existing applications to enhance performance, security, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our software development processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications as needed.
• Document development processes, coding conventions, and other important aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in .NET development, with a strong understanding of the .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries like jQuery or AngularJS.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in an educational environment is advantageous but not required.
