We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our customer base.

You will be responsible for cold calling prospects within the SaaS and AI/ML startup space, generating leads, and qualifying potential customers.


Responsibilities:

- Conduct cold calling campaigns to generate leads and schedule meetings with potential clients.

- Qualify leads and prospects to ensure alignment with target customer profile.

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and tactics.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.

- Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for business growth.

- Represent Abacus.ai with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions.


Skills Required:

- Proven experience in cold calling for SaaS or AI/ML startups.

- At least 2 years of experience in the same role/company, ideally with 4 years of overall sales experience.

- Background in data, infrastructure, AI, or other relevant technical fields preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
