Responsibilities: <ul><li>Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings related to switchgear and busbar systems.</li><li>Fabricate and install busbars for power distribution in switchgear systems.</li><li>Expertly carry out control wiring tasks in line with specified schematics.</li><li>Test and commission switchgear systems to ensure their optimal performance and safety.</li><li>Diagnose faults in busbar and control wiring systems and make necessary repairs.</li><li>Coordinate with the design and engineering team to ensure specifications and standards are met.</li><li>Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards while performing tasks.</li><li>Train junior technicians and provide guidance in busbar fabrication and control wiring techniques.</li><li>Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely completion of tasks.</li><li>Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure availability and readiness for projects.</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Technical diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in switchgear systems, specifically with expertise in busbar fabrication and control wiring.</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical principles and switchgear systems.</li><li>Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.</li><li>Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic tools relevant to the field.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and other stakeholders.</li><li>Continuous learning mindset to keep abreast with the latest technologies and techniques in the field.</li></ul>
