The Role

Eaton is seeking a Data Centre Electrical Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centre projects. This role focuses on LV/MV power distribution, UPS, and energy storage solutions, working closely with internal teams, customers, and industry partners.

The position is externally facing, representing Eaton as a trusted technical expert and supporting customers throughout the design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and engineering for data centre electrical systems (LV, MV, UPS, energy storage)
• Support early system approvals and customer technical engagements
• Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and sales teams
• Ensure compliance with IEC, EU regulations, and applicable codes
• Support site reviews, audits, and commissioning activities
• Drive innovation in Eaton’s data centre design solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in data centre application or systems engineering
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and UL standards is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills; customer‑focused mindset
• English required (Arabic is a plus)
