The Role
Eaton is seeking a Data Centre Electrical Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centre projects. This role focuses on LV/MV power distribution, UPS, and energy storage solutions, working closely with internal teams, customers, and industry partners.
The position is externally facing, representing Eaton as a trusted technical expert and supporting customers throughout the design and construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and engineering for data centre electrical systems (LV, MV, UPS, energy storage)
- Support early system approvals and customer technical engagements
- Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and sales teams
- Ensure compliance with IEC, EU regulations, and applicable codes
- Support site reviews, audits, and commissioning activities
- Drive innovation in Eaton’s data centre design solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in data centre application or systems engineering
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 and UL standards is a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills; customer‑focused mindset
- English required (Arabic is a plus)
