UPS Field Service Engineer
Job Description
To provide first-class service for the OEM-installed base products and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty. The primary function of the role is to perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs, and periodic maintenance for the OEM Installed base. You will be working on UPS´s including the scope from small 1-phase UPSs to large data center UPSs up to 1700kVA. Follow up customer agreements and customer satisfaction through planning, execution, documentation, and invoicing of service tasks. Ensure the update of customer information, technical documentation, and input to correct invoicing of customers. Support customers with technical questions (phone and/ or email). Support own colleagues in the Service department and sales with technical knowledge. Participate in required training (technical, mandatory by the Company, or by law). Responsibilities over the service request realization (timing, effectiveness) and service sales budget realization.
Responsible for the Service engineers team and performing commissioning, service, repair, and preventive maintenance on the Company's Installed Base/products.
Proactively be involved in the scheduling and planning of work for the FSEs
Actively support and work to be in line with goals and performance KPI´s.
Secure, timely reporting and technical reports are done in connection with each work.
Attending all mandatory trainings provided in accordance with Company policy.
Working and acting in line with the Company guidelines, processes, and code of ethics.
Cooperate with Project Managers in projects, supporting in planning and commissioning scheduling.
Offer support for high-profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
Maintain direct links with business units on technical issues.
Actively support the Company's Environment, Health & Safety culture.
Qualifications
Associate Engineer in Electrical
10+ years of experience
Skills
UPS 1-phase/3-phase systems, Battery backup, emergency supply.
Communication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Be able to work together with different cultures / Able to follow instructions
